Employment and Volunteer Opportunities

Jobs

There are no current job openings.  Please check back in the spring.

Internships for Students

Internships and externships are available for undergraduates and law students who possess strong academic backgrounds, excellent research and writing skills, and a commitment to public interest work.  Positions are available part-time in the spring and fall semesters.  There are also full-time positions available in the summer (see below).  Interns assist the Division's attorneys and paralegals with significant research and writing, field investigations and/or outreach to clients.  Occasionally, interns assist with special projects that may involve organizing events, creating a database and/or report writing.

All internships are unpaid volunteer positions. We are always happy to cooperate with students and their schools to secure class credits or funding from outside sources.  Because our client population is mostly Spanish-speaking, proficiency in Spanish is required.

Legal Fellowships

The Division welcomes applications from an attorney/law fellow who is interested in applying for funding through Skadden, Equal Justice Works, or other equivalent fellowship programs.

Volunteer Attorneys

The Division welcomes any volunteer attorneys who can provide pro bono services to assist with legal cases on behalf of migrant farm workers.

For more information, please contact Jennifer J. Lee at jlee@colegalserv.org or at (303) 866-9366.
